Where would you ideally like it to happen?
Well, somewhere that lots of people have access to, I don't want it to be me, some 13 year old and a creepy old guy the only ones who turn up.
What kind of events do you expect/want?
IRL 9 ring game!
What kind of prizes/loot/schwag do you expect/want?
Minipets I guess, maybe some weapon skins? The BMP? Oh and signed copies of things.
What kind of merchandise do you expect want?
Everything! Shirt, cushions, posters, pictures, toys, statues.
Would there be a band or a DJ? If so who?
Probably someone from a power metal band, that or some pop trash
Would there be cosplay?
YES!
Would you cosplay!?
YES!
Would you tell people who you were in game? :O
Maybe.
But is there really enough people to have a Guild Wars only con? Maybe an NC-Soft con is more realistic.

I probably would go if it were in the city, but then I'd have to lie about where I was going to people I know.

I probably wouldnt go. There wouldnt be enough diversity I wouldnt think for a convention to be just Guild Wars. Having a hard time imagining what there would be to do.

I am the biggest Guild Wars Nerd. Hurrah.
I would get in my Jeep and drive to Europe if I had to. Conventions usually mean free stuff and/or free food and lots of cool stuff anyways. I just can't resist the addiction to game.
Well, if there ever is one, look for the idiot dressed as Warmaster Grast because he drove across the Atlantic to get there.

If it was relatively close, had actual events, (and not just some guys dressed up singing stupid parody songs about GW), and if there was more out-of-game stuff to warrant a GW-con.
In other words, I don't want to go to a con to see very amateurish stuff and watch people sitting in a packed hall playing - there has to be stuff to do.
If there were devs there, a good collection of GW merchandise, and some cool stuff, then sure I'd go...

Hell yes.
I'd run around cosplayed as my necro and introducing myself screaming my character name, and I'd totally get involved and organise fun things like trivia and Prince Rurik impersonation/quoting contests and a big real-life sync wamo dance! And then we'd make a big replica of the HoH chest and give out random goodies to people in the crowd!
It'd be ever so grand!

I think it would be a good time if the below conditions were met. I bet I could get my whole guild to come.

I don't think we would have to worry about the people mentioned in the quote below. Those people likely are not independent and would be unable to attend even if they wanted to!
